Traveling north from Cottonwood?
I-17 northbound from Camp Verde is closed, as is I-40 east and west of Flagstaff.
I-17 north of AZ-169 will likely close before nightfall.
Travel in and out of the Verde Valley will be constrained if not impossible.


Traveling between Phoenix and Cottonwood via I-17?

You may experience lane closures between Anthem and Sunset Point - though these will primarily be limited to weeknights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
When you are in the construction zone, BE CAUTIOUS;
construction will be active seven days a week.
No weekend lane closures will be scheduled for construction, which allows you to use I-17 during peak travel days and times with limited construction impacts or restrictions.

(A closure might occur on a weekend because of an emergency or unplanned incident.)
