Introducing the members of the

OBB Explorers Club

Newest Explorers Club Members

Nancy & Jerry at OBB

Say hello to Nancy and Jerry from Anacortes, WA, our newest Explorers Club members!

Our friends are “snowbirds,” who enjoy the mild Washington summers but winter in Arizona.  Which is why their visits help us mark the season; when we see them, we know it’s either Nancy’s birthday or they are journeying back to Washington state for the summer!

We always enjoy their visit, and we are pleased to be their base for Verde Valley adventures!

OBB Explorers Club 202402 Julie & Tommy_

Meet Julie and Tommy from Phoenix!

Frequent visitors to northern Arizona’s wine country, they have become favorite regulars here at Origins B&B.  Here they have the opportunity to relax, take in the scenery and fresh air, eat some good food … and enjoy some new vintages from their favorite winery!

We’ve had the good fortune to meet several of their family members.  We always enjoy their company!

OBB Explorers Club 202309 Debra and Step

Meet Debbie and Steve from Oakland, CA!

Frequent travelers - especially across the western USA - they are our first Club Members from California.  Here in the Verde Valley, they have traveled the Verde Canyon Railroad, kayaked the Verde River, hiked the Sedona area ... and simply enjoyed relaxing at our home.

They are now like family; we enjoy their visits and vicariously enjoy their many adventures!

Sharon & Gregg at OBB

Say 'hi' to Sharon and Gregg from Uniontown, OH!

Sharon and Gregg married in April 2021, with friends and Sedona’s red rocks bearing witness.  Their love of Sedona and the Verde Valley brings them back frequently.  Their first visit with us at Origins B&B was early in 2022, and their fifth stay (4th room) was November 2023.  We have become their AZ home, and they have become family!

OBB Explorers Club Don and Laura

Meet Don and Laura from Peoria, AZ!

Don is a frequent visitor to the Verde Valley.  An avid museum-goer, he met Jeff at Cottonwood’s Clemenceau Museum (see our June 24, 2023 post at originsbedandbreakfast.com/daily-life), and chose to stay at Origins B&B on his next trip, in January 2023.  He enjoyed it enough to bring Laura along with each visit thereafter.  By August 2023, they had visited us a fourth time and achieved Explorers Club membership!  Laura, in particular, appreciates the breakfasts Karen creates that meet her dietary needs.  Don just likes the flavor.

We truly enjoy their visits, and we’re happy to be their Verde Valley home!

OBB Explorers Club Loretta and Warren

Here are Loretta and Warren from Scottsdale, AZ!

Their first stay with us was August 2021, staying in Pueblo Room.  They have now enjoyed five visits here over the past two years.  Frequent world travelers, they appreciate the attention to detail our home exhibits.  And the breakfasts Karen creates each morning!

Loretta and Warren are now like family.  It’s always nice to see them arrive for a visit!  Their company provides an opportunity to catch up and to hear stories about their most recent travels!

OBB Explorers Club Members Suzanne and Ralph (February 2023)

Suzanne and Ralph from Phoenix, AZ achieved membership in the Explorers Club on a cold winter's day!

Their first stay with us was New Year's Eve 2021, staying in Pueblo Room.  They enjoyed their 4th visit February 2023, staying in Canyon Room.  As you see from their photo, during that stay, we experienced a landscape of SNOW!

Long-time visitors to Arizona’s Red Rock country, Suzanne and Ralph originally chose Origins as an alternative to staying in Sedona.  But, they say, we have become for them a true DESTINATION

We are very fortunate to enjoy such great guests!  And we are pleased to be their Verde Valley Destination!

Cathy and Richard, from Mesa, AZ, pose in front of a stone fireplace.

Congratulations to Cathy and Richard from Mesa, AZ, our first Explorers Club members!

Their first stay with us was on Independence Day, 2021 (it is ALWAYS cooler here than in the Phoenix area!).  Since then, they have visited us about every 6 months.  On New Year’s Eve, 2022, they enjoyed their 4th visit, staying in the Pueblo Room.  When asked which room was their favorite, there was no clear winner – but they have already booked their next stay … in Copper Room.

We are very fortunate to enjoy such great guests!  And we are pleased to be their Verde Valley home-away-from-home!
